William T.
has been successful with turnarounds and the management of small to mid-sized manufacturing companies in the $10 million to $50 million annual sales range, serving the defense, aerospace, CATV, OEM, and catacomb, among other markets. His accomplishments include: the turnaround of the $18 million RF filter division of PPC from an operating loss to $3 million in profits within one year; generating 20% growth at the $50 million electronic connector division of PPC within one year by improving customer service, delivery performance, and asset utilization; generating and managing 50% per year growth at Brand-Rex Teltronics, a $10 million telecom electronics equipment manufacturer thru new products, technology, and business development; achieving a 20% ROS at Times Fiber Communications, a $30 million microwave component/RF cable manufacturer through new products, and an improved product mix and technology position; and creating $2 million in annual profit improvements during a recession for Brand-Rex Garry manufacturing, at $25 million, four plant electronic component manufacturer, through organizational restructuring, cost reductions, shop floor controls, improved pricing and distribution, and strengthened sales and marketing. Bill has a MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in Physics from Williams College.
Robert H.
has more than 20 years experience managing marketing and manufacturing organizations, including high volume (Tier 2) automotive parts, machine tools, jet engines, linear motion systems, and consumer products. In these capacities, Robert has been responsible for successful ERP system implementations of SAP and PeopleSoft, and has also completed ISO and QS 9000 certifications at facilities in the U.S. and Mexico. He has led company growth through performance improvements, sales and marketing initiatives and acquisitions, delivering strong and sustainable revenue and profit gains within highly competitive global markets. As a senior level Operations Executive, Robert has been responsible for the management of multiple plants in excess of ten locations, and has familiarity with manufacturing processes and organizational responsibility between 600-2100 employees. Currently, Robert is EVP responsible for worldwide manufacturing at Cybex, a $125 million fitness equipment manufacturer. His other job assignments include Group Managing Director at Thomson Industries, and Operations Manager for Pratt & Whitney’s $150 million Hartford, CT engine jet engine manufacturing facility. Robert has taught and led the implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques and Toyota Manufacturing Practices. He has a MBA and a BS in Mechanical engineering for Western New England College.
Juan G.
is offers more than 20 years of deep operations and supply chain management experience. Over the years, Juan has developed a management style that empowers people to best perform their functions by providing clear direction and the tools needed to achieve their objectives while facilitating interdepartmental communication to ensure success. In this position, Robert was responsible for the management of the company’s entire US manufacturing, purchasing, materials management, and engineering departments, comprising an annual budget of in excess of $124 million and a workforce of more than 2,000 employees. Prior thereto, Juan spent 18+ years with Merck & Co., having been Procurement Director for the company’s Anti-Infectives Division, and Global Supply Chain Manager for its Agricultural and Veterinary Division. Juan ha a MBA in management from Farleigh Dickinson University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College.
Gary F.
offers more than 30 years experience in key operational areas including engineering, tooling and equipment, manufacturing production, and maintenance. He is competent in the business and personnel dynamics of rapid growth to downsizing to fats turnarounds. He has successfully executed numerous contracts with senior management and owners of small to large firms. The most recent was a turnaround from a $.5 million loss to a $.1 million profit in only six months. He has an established track record of developing PM programs, engineering systems, and continuous process improvements. He has held contract positions from Plant Manager to Engineering Manager to Program Manager. He has extensive knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly operations. Gary started at Ford Motor Company and was quickly recognized as a manufacturing troubleshooter. He had an uncanny ability to make rapid decisions to solve complex issues. Using this talent he branched out on his own to work contracts where he improved production, started up plants or programs, or brought failing firms back to profitability. He has earned an excellent reputation for getting the tough jobs done. He has 3 Journeyman Ratings and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Greenville College that he earned in his spare time.
John I.
brings more than 16 years of operations management experience in high tech environments using advanced manufacturing and distribution technologies to reduce costs, improve operations, and enhance customer satisfaction. During his career, John has managed budgets of up to $450 million; selected and installed several MRP/ERP systems (centralized and distributed); managed several Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementations; successfully transferred and setup manufacturing facilities in Asia; and experienced in high volume, flow line manufacturing technology. Most recently, John was been the COO of the Western Division of AVG, a $400 million electronic contract manufacturing company, managing four western U.S. facilities. At AVG, John was been able to improve margins by 45% through the effective application of “Best Practices”. Prior thereto, he was VP of Operations at Itronix, a computer and high technology device manufacturer, playing a key role in managing the company’s growth from $40 to $110 million. Earlier in his career, John helped establish the early operational infrastructure for BusinessLand (grew to $300 million in sales) and Chuck E. Cheese (grew to $500 million), installing automated systems for logistics, distribution, and manufacturing facilities. John has direct experience implementing Lean Manufacturing (TPS) methodologies and is APICS CPIM certified.
